It's official! Jean-Marc Lefranc, parliamentarian, regional council member and former mayor, has joined the list of Jean-Yves Cornière for the second round of Grandcamp-Maisy's municipal elections. Mr. Lefranc brings on board 9 new candidates. The former mayor told the newspaper, Ouest-France, that he was motivated by a desire to see the next council take on a coherent vision for the future of the town. Mr. Lefranc downplayed his role in the next administration, saying his role would be only to advise the new mayor and his deputies. The composition of Mr. Cornière's new list is shown above, with new candidates noted with an asterisk.
