Ouverture de la pêche à la crevette

Il y avait un monde fou pour l'ouverture ce 1er Aout. Dès le matin à 5 h et surtout l'après-midi, toutes les places de stationnement étaient prises, depuis l'église de Grandcamp jusqu au parc à huitres de Maisy, et le rocher était noir de monde.

Et la péche etait belle et bonne en poids!

A huge crowd invaded Grandcamp-Maisy for the opening of the shrimp fishing season. As early as 5 am, for the morning low tide, and especially in late afternoon, not a single parking space was to be found from the church of Grandcamp to the oyster beds of Maisy.

And the rocks were covered with people pushing their nets.

Everyone came back with a plentiful catch of good size shrimp.
